Katerina Kouzmitcheva
Katerina Kouzmitcheva is a Belarusian photographer, based in Wroclaw, Poland, working at the intersection of genres, documentary and art photography. Her projects explore themes of human interaction, political systems, identity-forming memory, and issues surrounding feminine gender roles.
Katerina is the winner of international photography competitions such as TIFA and BIFA, and a recipient of the Gaude Polonia grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. She is a member of the international association of photojournalists, WOMEN PHOTOGRAPH. Her work has been exhibited in Arles, France, as well as Brazil, Japan, Estonia, Hungary and Poland. Her photography has been featured in publications such as Bird in Flight, Monovisions, Dodho, and others.
