Demetris Koilalous

(1962), Demetris Koilalous was born in Athens where he works as a freelance photographer. In 2011 he produced the «Lebanese Notebook-AntiParadise» -a commission by the Photography Museum of Thessaloniki. His next project «Heterotopia» started in 2013 and attempts an insight into contemporary Israel. In 2016 he completed “CAESURA – the duration of a sigh” a year-long project about the transitory IDENTITY state of refugees and migrants entering Greece after crossing the Aegean Sea on their way to Europe.
