Protests in support of opposition leader Alexei Navalny took place on January 23, 2021 in 196 Russian cities. In the Ural capital – Yekaterinburg, the day turned out to be very cold. According to the media, about 5 thousand people took part in an unauthorized rally in Yekaterinburg. The procession took place in the city center. The crowd of people stretched across the entire embankment of the City Pond – from the Dynamo metro station to the Drama Theater.
