Refugee children

Refugee children, photo essay by Morteza Kenani

[W]ar and conflict in countries like Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan caused massive migration of their residents to neighboring countries. Turkey is hosting a big number of these migrants.

Children and youngsters are getting the most pain and harm because of this compulsory movement. Most of migrants face financial deficiencies and do things like begging and other false jobs. They do street music, sell cheap things and stroll without any goal in the streets of Turkey. Although they are expelled from their homes and they have lots of problems, sometimes they laugh. Being happy is their right. Despite different aid programs from European Union and other countries, these children are not in good condition and their future is opaque. Perhaps they can have a bright future.
